Dr. Salil Shetty Visit TWS

Monday 12th Dec. 2011, TWS was specially privileged to be visited by Dr. Salil Shetty, the Former Director of UN Millenium Campaign and the current Secretary General of Amnesty International.

The School was equally honoured to have Mr. Dino Varkey, Senior Director Business Operations - GEMS and Mr. Vikas Pota, Global Head of Corporate Affairs Chief Executive Officer - Varkey GEMS Foundation

Dr. Shetty addressed the students on the Declaration of Human Rights abuses and campaign for compliance with International Laws and Standards.
Students from Years 11, 12 & 13 were then given Question Time and gave him some thought provoking questions to which he was ready with every answer.

This was a very special day.
