
Grace Aluoka
Assistant Principal Secondary
Having worked in Dubai since 2003, Grace is delighted to have been appointed as Assistant Principal for Secondary and Sixth Form at The Westminster School Dubai. Grace holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and has completed leadership training, including the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2024 and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) in 2018. She is also Level 3 trained in Safeguarding, serves as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) for Secondary and Sixth Form, and has recently completed BSO Level 2 inspector training with PENTA.
As an English specialist, Grace strongly believes that all students should have opportunities to develop their creativity in a variety of contexts. She is committed to supporting students’ attainment and progress across subjects and has extensive experience in developing strategies and working collaboratively with teachers to improve student performance.
Students’ happiness and wellbeing are central to Grace’s work as Secondary Assistant Principal. As a leader and team player, she values the views of all stakeholders and promotes the importance of parental engagement in students’ social and emotional development. Outside of work, Grace enjoys spending time with her family. Born in a small town in Western Kenya, she developed a passion for teaching from an early age, inspired by both of her parents, who were teachers. She is married and has two teenage children.
