Dema Alrefai

Dema Hassan Al-Refai graduated from the College of Education, Department of Psychological Counseling. After graduation she proceeded to a diploma course in educational rehabilitation. She started her career as a social counsellor where she received training from specialized centers in the field of gifted and talented and the preparation of the individual educational plan. She loves working with students with special needs because she pursued working as a learning support assistant. She received training in the field of applied behavioral analyses and completed 40 hours of training as a registered behavioral technician alongside she completed the training in diploma in special educational needs. She obtained her license as a registered behavioral technician (RGC). She worked in educational and clinical settings as a behavior modification specialist and shifted her career as student counselor using her expertise as registered behavior technician, mental health first aider and a mental health champion.
