Helping our students find the right path

Infant School

Key Stage 1 [Kindergarten - Year 2]

At 3 years of age the child is initiated into schooling through innovative methods of teaching and learning and fun filled activities, within the framework of The National Curriculum for England. A positive attitude to school is fostered through individual attention, encouragement and support. Our endeavour is to make learning exciting and pressure free in a safe, secure and happy environment making the transition from home to school an easy one.

During these formative years, the programme is geared for developing self-esteem, social and interactive skills, in addition to the basic cognitive and motor abilities. Learning takes place directly through formal teaching including ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and an activity-based programme.  The focus is on both individual as well as group activities.

The Kindergarten children are suitably prepared for literacy and numeracy methods following well-graded phonic methods writing patterns. Emphasis is laid on a comprehensive foundation-building programme focusing on enhancing skills in reading, speaking writing and listening.
