Romy Rejinold Manakkal
Head of Teaching Learning and Assessment - Primary
Romy has 23 years of experience in Primary School teaching with 20 of those years in TWS. During her tenure at TWS Romy has successfully functioned in diverse roles - from a Year 4 Classroom Teacher to a Subject Leader- Science in Primary, Year Leader, Phase Manager, Phase Leader and currently the Head of Teaching Learning and Assessment of Primary.
Having earned her Master of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Mumbai, India, Romy started her career as a teacher to fulfil her desire to work with young children. She loves whatever she does for the student community and this has helped her to evolve from a dedicated teacher to a passionate educator, working towards raising the standards of teaching and learning for the young learners.
As the Head of Teaching Learning and Assessment of Primary, Romy works closely with Heads of departments and teachers, planning and implementing teaching strategies for consistent curriculum implementation across Primary and thus empower the young learners.
